Born the illegitimate seventh son of an Guatemalan coffee bean
harvester and eco-terrorist, my life passed completely uneventfully
for over 28 years until, on 9th July 1999, I married
Camie (neé Blaire)
in a registry office in Bishops Stortford, followed the next day
by a full ceremony in Latimer House
... we've never looked back since!
At the present time, we have just returned from travelling the Americas
together, having decided at the end of 2004 to take the career break we
have been discussing on and off for years. You can see all the
information you could possibly want on this topic including photos, a
travel journal and an interactive discussion forum on our trip website.
Current projects include decorating my study and building an arcade emulator (MAME based) to complement the pinball machine.
In other news, for my 30th birthday in 2001 we decided to undertake the famous
Monopoly Pub Crawl which rivalled the Stag
Weekend for boozy fun. My website gets about 900 hits a month and I am proud it is top search result on Google.
We are planning a rerun for my 34th at the end of 2005 to refresh the
content and my brother even has some crazy idea we should publish a
guidebook!
2001 was an eventful year as Camie bought me an Addams Family pinball machine
for my 30th birthday which has seen a large amount of use since
its installation on the 10th April 2002. Like the sad statto I am,
every game played on it has been registered on the stats
page.
My
most recent gadget purchase was an XBox (dismaying CJ
who has an aversion to all things Microsoft - although Forza
Motorsport's incredible online play has left him sorely tempted as a
dyed-in-the-wool Gran Turismo fan frustrated by the lethargic
acceptance of Sony that the internet is the future of gaming), I love
the XBox Live
online experience and have already done my best to get in the queue for
an
XBox360 for the claimed December 2nd release release.
